A New process I developed uses a technique; I call Sumi Earth Art.I collect fresh flower blossoms,leaves; seaweeds and sandollars;arranging materials to create landscapes. Using an ancient ink painting medium from Japan Sumi-ee watercolor technique. Positioning a sanddollar as the sun completes the scene. Shown, "Mermaid Under the Sea"

To my faithful followers " Mermaid Under the Sea" is progressing nicely. I have begun to give her an ocean in which she can swim. Sketched in her face & arms in black ink. Of course the ocean blue is accomplished by grinding an ink stick in a little bit of water the sumi -ee way. Enjoy her.
